Mississauga Battodo specializes in Nakamura Ryu Battodo, a school of combat swordsmanship founded by Taizaburo Nakamura. Training focuses on Happogiri (eight ways of cutting), kata, kumitachi (two-person forms), and tameshigiri (test cutting). It aims to develop natural, spontaneous movement and instinctive sword handling.
