Kumakai Karate Vancouver (UBC Dojo) offers Shotokan Karate Do and Kudo, a Japanese Mixed Martial Art that incorporates techniques from Judo, Kyokushin Karate, Shooto, BJJ, wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing. The studio provides mixed-age classes for kids, youth, adults, and families, focusing on both traditional forms for self-defense and realistic MMA training with Budo philosophy. Private 1-on-1 training is also available.
